Hmmmm so you missed the 2007 Festival....don't make the same mistake twice!
So.....do you have a good idea for a short film?
Do you have a bad idea for a short film?

Whatever your idea, get a few friends, write a little script and put it on film. You could share in great prizes. You could surprise your friends, your family, even yourself! Your film should be up to 10 minutes long and can be on whatever subject matter you choose. Just make sure it can be viewed by the masses!

There is an Open section, sections for schools, for over 55's, for 'locals' (Peel Region residents) and a section for indigenous themes and film-makers. The festival also wishes to give those who live with a challenge a chance to be involved so we have a special section for film-makers who have overcome a particular challenge to get their work made. So something for everyone.

Entries close on the 30th of August, 2008 for all sections except the Schools section, which closes on the 26th September. So you still have plenty of time to put your fantastic creation together.

If you need help, we can find it for you. All you need is a video camera, an active imagination and maybe a sense of humour. The rest is fun!
